For EDI, TMS & network pros · independent contractors · semi-retired welcome

Get paid for the trucking IT jobs our AI can't do by itself.

Our AI fixes EDI files and writes IT answers. When a carrier needs hands on a system (AS2 down, a McLeod or TMW config change, a firewall, an on-site visit), we send the job to a vetted expert. Written briefs, set rates, no sales calls, no chasing invoices.

Our rates: what the customer pays, and what you receive

Platform fee drops as you complete jobs: 25% of labor on your jobs 1–6, 22% on jobs 7–12, 20% on jobs 13–18, and 18% from job 19 on. Only completed, paid jobs count (not refunded or lost chargebacks), and each job's rate is locked when you accept it. Customer prices are the same at every step, so the savings go to you.

Fixed-scope jobs priced from these hourly rates. Platform fee: 25% → 22% → 20% → 18% of labor as your completed jobs add up (see above). Fees are rounded down to the dollar, in your favor. Trip charges pass through to you in full. Rush/after-hours = 1.5×. Rates are set by us, published here, and the same for everyone in the pool. Sources for the market comparison are in BROKER.md.

Payment-first, always

  • 🔒 The customer pays the full quote upfront before any job offer reaches you. You'll never work on credit.
  • 🛡 90% of your share is paid on confirmation; a 10% reserve is released 60 days after the customer's payment if there's no refund or chargeback. A later refund or chargeback is recovered from the reserve, then by transfer reversal or netting against future payouts (terms, draft). Stripe's dispute fees are always on us.
  • ⏱ Your payout is released when the customer confirms completion, or automatically 72 h after you mark it complete if they don't respond.
  • ⚖ Disputes are settled from the held funds, from the written record. You're never asked to chase anyone.
  • 🧾 Scope grew? Submit a change order. You continue only after the customer pays it.

How it works

  1. Apply and pass vetting (skills scenario, written references, contractor agreement, Stripe onboarding).
  2. Get written job offers that match your skills, region, and hours. Accept or decline.
  3. Work through a session the customer starts, or a temporary account they create. Never store passwords.
  4. Post written updates, then mark the job complete with a short change log.
  5. Get paid to your bank through Stripe.
